The Amtrol ST-12C-DD is an ASME-rated, pre-pressurized, diaphragm-type expansion tank with a 6.5-gallon total volume and a 3.2-gallon acceptance volume. Certified by ASME, the ST-C series expansion tanks are pre-charged diaphragm vessels designed to mitigate the effects of water expansion, protecting your domestic water system from excessive pressure buildup. Models ST-447C through ST-457C feature a replaceable, full-acceptance butyl bladder. For added assurance, this tank complies with NSF/ANSI Standard 61.
