All hot and cold - water plumbing fittings shall be Copper - Tube - Size constructed from type IV, grade I Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) compound with a cell classification of 23447 per ASTM D1784. All fittings shall be produced in strict compliance to ASTM D2846 as manufactured by Spears® manufacturing company and consistently meet or exceed the quality assurance requirements of this standard. The fittings shall be manufactured in the USA by an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer and shall carry NSF® international seal of approval for potable water applications. All fittings in sizes 1/2 - 2 inch shall be pressure rated at 100 psi for water at 180 deg F or 400psi at 73 deg F. as manufactured by Spears® manufacturing company.
